Hildegard’s Cleansing Pear-Herb-Honey Preserve

As a general cleansing and detox treatment

Ingredients:

1.5 kg of pears

8 tablespoons of honey

100 g of herbal blend containing: spignel root (35%), galangal root, licorice root, summer savory. - purchase here

Preparation Steps:

Peel and core the pears, removing seeds and tough parts.Chop the pears finely. Cook them in a small amount of water until soft. Drain the water, and purée the soft pears into a smooth mash.

Preheat the honey:

Place a glass of honey into a pot of water. Heat the water gently until it boils. Stir the honey with a spoon. Skim off the foam that forms on top – this is wax and pollen residue. Add the warm, cleaned honey to the pear purée. Add the herbal powder mix and stir constantly. Bring the mixture to a short boil and let it simmer briefly. Pour the hot mixture immediately into clean glass jars. Store in the refrigerator.

How to Use (Dosage):

Take daily for at least 4 weeks (adjust depending on age and body weight):

Morning (before breakfast):

– 1 tip of a knife up to 1 teaspoon

Midday (after lunch):

– 2 knife tips up to 2 teaspoons

Evening (before bed):

– 3 knife tips up to 3 teaspoons

You can eat it plain, or spread on bread.
