Lungwort Tea with Cistus – 50 g
Lungwort Tea with Cistus – 50 g
St. Hildegard says: "When evil and foul-smelling juices send smoke into the human brain, which drives this smoke to the lungs and causes pain there, then let the person take lungwort and boil it in water, but not in wine, for this herb would be weaker if boiled with wine. Once boiled and strained through a cloth, let him pour the decoction into a pot and drink it for more than a week. And when he has used up this drink, he should prepare another one in the same way. He should drink it daily on an empty stomach (not after eating) until he recovers."
